	What is H.O.G? H.O.G. stands for Harley Owners Group. By purchasing your Harley-Davidson Motorcycle, you now have membership into the largest factory-sponsored motorcycle club in the world, over one million members strong! There is a National H.O.G. organization and also several local dealership sponsored chapters throughout the area, Doc’s chapter is Kirkwood H.O.G. (Chapter 2573).



	What are the benefits of joining National H.O.G.? A wide range of benefits are afforded each member. You will receive a membership packet at the closing of your Harley-Davidson motorcycle at Doc’s, but a sampling of some of the benefits are the following: NEW for 2010 – Special member discounts on wireless from AT&T. NEW for 2010 – Special member discounts and benefits through Best Western Ride Rewards. Safe Rider Skills reimbursement – up to $50 in the form of a coupon. H.O.G. Roadside Assistance Standard Package – upgrades available, see information below Harley-Davidson insurance – money-saving discounts may apply to you Subscription to HOG Magazine H.O.G. 	When will I receive my H.O.G. membership kit? Typically, after the close on your motorcycle, you will receive membership materials in 3 to 5 weeks. The kit includes your H.O.G. Benefits Guide, H.O.G. Americas Touring Handbook, your membership card and a H.O.G. pin & patch.



	Is H.O.G. Roadside Assistance provided with my membership? Yes, your membership comes with a standard package which includes one occurrence per year, up to a miximum of $100 for towing to the nearest Harley-Davidson dealer. Road America can assist with towing, extrication and fuel replacement (fuel cost is not covered) and offers telephone support 24/7. The number to call for assistance is 1-888-443-5896, but not to worry, this information is located handily on the back of your membership card. Road America will provide an authorized service provider for assistance. If the invoice is $100 or less, you pay nothing. If the invoice is over $100, you pay the difference.



	Is there a way I can upgrade my roadside assistance which would provide greater levels of coverage, without limitation or occurrence? Yes, three packages are available, the Deluxe ($19.95), Ultra ($29.95) and the Ultra-Plus which includes cars and light trucks ($49.95). 	Who is Kirkwood H.O.G. and how do I join? Kirkwood H.O.G. is Doc’s sponsored H.O.G. Chapter on the local level. Most of your daily H.O.G. activities will be available through them, which includes meetings, special events and rides as well as opportunities to join other associated H.O.G. groups like Ladies of Harley. 	Can my passenger, a friend or family member become a part of H.O.G.? Yes, they can become an associate member. The cost is $25 and affords some of the same great benefits you will enjoy with rides and events in the chapter.



	Do you have to buy a new Harley-Davidson motorcycle to join? No. A one year full membership is automatically issued to purchasers of new, unregistered Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Owners of pre-owned motorcycles are welcome to join H.O.G. for $45.



	Do I receive a “year” patch or pin when I join H.O.G.? No. The first year you receive a H.O.G. logo patch and pin. The patches and pins which feature a year are called “renewal rockers”, which you receive each year when you renew your membership.



	What is the Ladies of Harley (LOH)? LOH offers members a special embroidered patch and pin. You must be an active female full or associate member of H.O.G. to be affiliated with LOH. Ladies of Harley is free, but not automatic. To join, call H.O.G. at 1-800-258-2464.



	How do I renew my H.O.G. membership? You will receive a renewal notice 60 days in advance of your expiration date – you may send in your renewal or call member services at 1-800-258-2464 or renew on-live at members.hog.com.
